Kushinagar: Be alert while walking on the road, so that accidents do not happen

Kushinagar: Superintendent of Police (SP) Vinod Kumar Singh inaugurated the traffic month on Sunday by cutting the lace on the police station Ravindra Nagar Dhuns located at the district headquarters. During this, drivers were called to follow traffic rules and appealed to install helmets and seat belts while driving. Prescriptions were also distributed among the drivers and common people for awareness. The Superintendent of Police said that like every time, this time November is also being celebrated as Traffic Month.

For one month, the police and traffic department will campaign across the district to make drivers aware of safe traffic so that road accidents can be prevented. Accidents are increasing rapidly due to ignoring traffic rules. There is hardly any day on which there is no notice of road accident in the district. In such a situation, everyone will have to be careful about safe traffic. It is often seen that the driver talks to the mobile while driving. This increases the chances of accidents.

ASP AP Singh said to limit the speed while driving on the road. By taking care of small things, we can secure the life of ourselves and others. He called upon the drivers to compulsorily follow the traffic rules while walking on the road. Do not hand over bike or car keys to guardian minors. Before wearing a two wheeler, wear a helmet. Similarly, while sitting in the car, do tie the belt. During this, CO, Kotwal, Police Station and other police personnel were present.
